  • roof tent is a sleeping pod that attaches to the roof of almost any vehicle, providing a comfortable and safe sleeping space elevated from the ground. The ingenious design allows for quick and easy setup and pack-down and keeps you off the ground away from any wet or uneven surfaces, as well as wildlife.

  • Installing a roof tent typically involves mounting it to your vehicle's roof rack or bars using dedicated brackets and hardware.  There are 4 clamping points and only 8 nuts to tighten.  It's usually a straightforward process and should take less than 30 minutes.  The team at Daunder will handle the installation and removal of your chosen tent.

    Please note, your vehicle must be fitted with a suitable roof rack or roof bars to install a rooftop tent.  Roof rails are not compatible.   

  • Yes, it's safe to put a roof tent on your car as long as you do not exceed the vehicle's roof load limit whilst driving and it is installed correctly. TentBox's guide on vehicle road limits has more information on this.

  • All TentBox models can be safely opened in wind speeds up to 38mph.

    The orientation of your tent can really help minimize the effects of strong wind.  For TentBox Lite models, the opposite side to the ladder should be wind-facing.

  • The security deposit will be forfeited and the full replacement value will be required up to the sum of £2000.
